Update v1.6.1-beta


We have a working online server, guys! Yes, this version has very little changes, but I wanted to do the one thing I had wanted to do since before the first release, so... here it goes.

Changes:

Global

  • We have a working online server now. If you have any dungeons, feel free to suggest them so I can add it there. Keep in mind that it's a free Azure subscription plan what is running it so don't expect good performance. But it's better than nothing.
    • This online server has an extra dungeon compared to the console client. Feel free to try it out.

Dungeon Server

  • Made enough infrastructure changes to ensure it can be set up to run as an online service.
  • Added initial memory saving procedures: Dungeons that have been Completed, or that haven't received any requests in the last 2 hours will be removed from the server.
  • The server now creates a separate log every time it runs.

Dungeon Editor

  • When trying to create a new Locale, or opening an existing one, any Entries present in other Locales, but not in this one, will be added.
    • This is an extension of the "add new Mandatory Locale Entries" feature that had been added previously, but now supports user-made Entries.

Console Client

  • The font that was being used for the map and window screens has been changed to one that resembles the auxiliary boxes more.
  • Fixed bug that made the Client crash as soon as a server-hosted Dungeon entered its very first turn.
  • Default server address has been changed to https://roguecustomsserver.azurewebsites.net

Dungeon JSONs from v1.6.0 are fully compatible. No changes are required.
